The centre diamond

The centre stone is yours to choose. Configure a lab-grown one on the page — the carat from 1ct upwards, the colour from D to F, the clarity from VVS1 to VS2 — and the price moves with every choice, so one design can be made to very different budgets. Shape

Each design is made for one shape — oval, cushion, emerald, radiant, marquise or round — because the setting is built around the stone it holds. Choose the design whose shape you want; the product name and the centre-stone panel both state it.

Metal and size

Rings are made in 9K, 10K, 14K or 18K gold in white, yellow or rose, or in platinum, and built at the finger size you order. Resizing after purchase is free, except on full-eternity rings and designs with stones set into the shank.

Timing

Every ring is made to order and dispatched in 2–3 weeks, with insured, signed-for delivery to follow. If you have a date in mind, allow for both.

Common questions

What is the difference between lab-grown and natural diamonds?

Both are real diamonds, with the same chemistry, crystal structure, hardness and optical behaviour — a lab-grown diamond is not a simulant like cubic zirconia or moissanite. The difference is origin. In practice lab-grown gives you the same look for a lower price, so the same budget buys a larger or cleaner stone; natural diamonds are rarer and priced accordingly. Neither choice is the wrong one.

Are these rings lab-grown or natural?

You choose the centre diamond — lab-grown or natural — along with its carat, colour and clarity. A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond, with the same chemistry, hardness and optical behaviour as a mined one; the difference is where it grew, and what the same budget buys. The rings you can configure on the website are built around a lab-grown centre stone; for a natural one, tell us what you have in mind and we will price it for you.

Are the diamonds certified?

Centre and solitaire stones are independently graded and supplied with their certificate, generally from IGI. Very small accent and pavé stones are graded in parcels rather than individually, as is normal across the trade, but they are always supplied to the colour and clarity range you selected. Email us for the certificate details of a specific piece before you order.

How do I find my ring size?

The most reliable way is to have the finger measured by a jeweller, ideally at the end of the day. Failing that, measure the internal diameter of a ring already worn on that finger. Avoid paper strips and string, which stretch and read a size too large. If it is a surprise, borrow a ring they wear on the right finger and send us the measurement — we will help you work it out.

Can the ring be resized later?

Resizing after purchase is free: you cover the postage to send it to us and we cover the return postage. It is not possible on full-eternity rings or on designs with stones set into the shank, because there is no plain metal to work with — the ring has to be remade, and we would quote for that first.

How long will my order take?

Two to three weeks to make, plus delivery. We hold no finished stock — your piece is made after you order, in the metal, diamond quality and size you chose. Production begins once the 24-hour cancellation window closes.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

No. Every piece is made to your specification, so we cannot accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges. You can cancel within 24 hours of ordering, before production starts. If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, your statutory rights are unaffected.
