Bespoke Jewellery Design

Every piece of Xclusive Diamonds jewellery is made in-house by us. Some pieces do not exist yet. A ring drawn from a rough sketch, a stone reset for the next generation, an idea you have carried around for years. We design and make one-off pieces to order — and you see exactly what you are getting, in 3D, before anything is made.
Timescale

Time to make a bespoke commission: 2–10 weeks

Bespoke commissions take 2–10 weeks to make, depending on the complexity of the commission. Delivery follows once your piece is complete. We confirm the production timeline with your quote; design discussions and approvals take place before making begins.

Delivery follows dispatch. Because a commission is made to your specification, it cannot be returned or exchanged for a change of mind — your statutory rights if a piece is faulty, damaged or not as described are unaffected.

How it works

From First Conversation To Finished Piece

    Talk it through

    Tell us what you have in mind — a sketch, a photograph, a piece you already own, or just a description. We will tell you honestly what is possible, what it is likely to cost and how long it will take. There is no charge for this conversation and no obligation to go ahead.

  2. 02

    See it before it is made

    Your piece is modelled in 3D — computer-aided design, or CAD — and you receive photorealistic images of it from every angle. Proportions, setting height, the width of the band: you see all of it before a gram of metal is committed. Changes at this stage cost nothing.

  3. 03

    Choose your diamond

    We show you stones that suit the design and the budget, lab-grown or natural, with prices and the relevant certificate information shown openly. If you are resetting a stone you already own, it goes back into the new design.

  4. 04

    Approve the design and the price

    You receive a fixed price and a confirmed timeline in writing. Nothing is made until you have agreed to both.

  5. 05

    Made by hand, then delivered

    Cast, filed, set and polished in the workshop, checked against the design you approved, and delivered to you insured and presented properly.

Chosen With You, Not For You

A commission usually starts with the diamond. We put a short list in front of you — lab-grown or natural — with the price and relevant certificate information shown plainly, so the trade-off between size, colour and clarity is yours to make rather than ours. If a stone you want is not in stock, we will look for it and tell you what that adds to the timeline.

Jewellery that is never worn because it no longer suits anyone can be reworked. The stones and the story stay with you; the setting is new.

The pair most people commission. We design around the stone you choose, and cut a wedding band to sit flush against it, whether that is now or years from now.
