A hall of mirrors, set on end. The emerald cut is a step cut — long parallel facets in level courses, running back to a wide open table — so it answers light in broad calm sheets rather than sparks. Four slender claws take the stone at its cut corners, tapering as they go, and nothing crowds the long flat sides. A small jump ring above, then a flat bail narrowing as it rises. It is the cut that hides nothing, set so that nothing hides it.
